WHAT DOES THE R-CA NEED FROM YOU?

(NOT IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE)

VOLUNTEERS

  • Volunteers to write cards and informative letters to family members, make phone calls to the sick/hospitalized, and/or email other R-CA family units, associations, and interested individuals. (R-CA Outreach Program)
  • Volunteers to help manage the current R-CA Facebook account and the future R-CA website.
  • Volunteers to serve as R-CA officials in the future, i.e. Director, Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, President, Newsletter Editor, and in other necessary roles such as: photographer and video recorder, and on special committees and nominating committees.
  • Volunteers to help organize and assist in coordinating the next reunion.

PHOTOS

  • Photographs of elders with descriptions (all generations/all families).
  • Photographs of the gravestones with locations of your family members.
  • Photographs of your ancestors family businesses, farms, buildings, churches, houses, barns, etc with descriptions.
  • Photographs with descriptions and location of your family heirlooms, i.e. furniture, guns, knives, clothes, books, wills, bibles, etc.
  • Photographs with description and location of family paintings of your family members.

FACEBOOK

  • RCA Facebook comments on postings, and posts including photos, travel, and other group member activities.
  • New R-CA Facebook members. Please spread the word that the R-CA is on Facebook @Roark.Conner, and share the R-CA business cards.

NEWSLETTER

  • RCA Newsletter Family Reporters.
  • RCA Newsletter articles about family members, heirlooms, and childhood and past reunion memories.
  • Family data about births, weddings, sick relatives, deaths, etc. 

PRESENTATIONS

  • Develop and present your family’s history during future RCA Reunions.
