TNSAR 2019 CEREMONY HONORS PATRIOT ANCESTORS

On Friday, September 27th, 2019, during the R-CA’s 61st Reunion Meet & Greet Session, the John Sevier Chapter, Tennessee Sons of the American Revolution (TNSAR), gave a presentation on their mission and highlighted plans for recognizing two Revolutionary War Veterans. 

On October 12, 2019, at 11:00 am, TNSAR conducted the ceremony, in coordination with the R-CA, to honor Patriots Thomas Palmer and William J. Moore, by installing a memorial marker at their gravesites in the Conner Cemetery,Birchwood, TN. The ceremony featured a presentation of colors by the TNSAR state color guard and taps with members in Revolutionary War period uniforms. Biographies were presented for the Patriots at the ceremony.
