Roark, at the 2004 Annual Reunion of the Roark-Conner Association, meeting October 9, 2004 , in Chattanooga , Tennessee , and taken from his extensive work in genealogy and family history on the extended Roark family. The Association suffered a significant loss when David C. Roark died February 25, 2005.
