To get the family together, Laura Roark Shropshire and her brothers William, Thomas, Franklin, and Joseph decided to hold the first reunion on August 15, 1959, at Lake Winnespausauka, and 52 family members attended. Each year thereafter, the family hosted an annual reunion. Beginning in 2000, the R-CA held its reunions virtually. For highlights, go to Roark-Conner.org home page, and click on the “R-CA Reunion” tab.
