James Madison Conner, born January 3, 1842, was the seventh child and third son of the sixteen children of Maximilian Haney Conner and Martha Palmer Conner. He married Eliza Jane Bare on September 5, 1867. They lived in the Birchwood, Tennessee area, with their children, until moving to the Union City, Missouri area in late 1843. They resided in Union City until moving to Oklahoma Territory in 1901, and homesteaded a parcel of land in what is now Caddo County Oklahoma. This book provides a family history of James Madison Conner and Elize Jane Bare Conner and their descendants at the time of the book’s publication in 2008.
