Lambert Cemetery Historical Marker – Roark-Conner Association

Honor ancestors, share history, meet cousins, attend reunions!

Timothy Roark, Sr. and his wife Sarah Bolen are buried in the Lambert Cemetery along with several Roark ancestors. The Cemetery was a family plot on the farm of Timothy and Sarah. The historical marker is located in Clairborne County, and the county seat is in Tazewell. About 2002, Darwin Lane, David Roark, and Howard Scott led purchase and installation of the R-CA marker.

The R-CA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to hosting annual reunions, preserving historical documents, sharing family history, and maintaining cemeteries and markers.

Managed by a Board of Directors, the R-CA maintains cemeteries, publishes Newsletters, updates this website, preserves family history, and coordinates the annual family reunions
