Those attending our 60th and 61st Reunion created historic events for the R-CA. For the 61st, forty cousins came from 13 states for the 2-day Reunion.
At every Roark-Conner Reunion, we conduct a Memorial Service designed to pay tribute to family members who have died during the year.
Since the first reunion in 1959, the Worship Service has been held to ensure a religious experience and to honor our Roark and Conner ancestors.
Five articles and video clips highlight special memories of past reunions by Jessica Johnson, James Roark, John J. Roark, Reba Shropshire Wilson, and Howard Scott.
If you get involved in the R-CA, you honor your ancestors and support Laura Roark Shropshire’s 1959 Reunion goal of collecting and sharing early Roark-Conner family history on how, “our ancestors lived, how they suffered, and how they endured hardships while striving for a Christ way of life.”
