Roark-Conner Association
VIRTUAL VOTE FOR 2022 BOARD OF DIRECTORS and FOR CHANGES TO BYLAWS
The R-CA BOD VOTING PROCESS
To ensure the continuation of the R-CA and future family reunions, every year a Nominating Committee is named to fill vacant positions and to present candidates to the Board for a vote.
It is incumbent on the R-CA President to present the 2022 candidates to the membership for a vote. If we had a face-to-face reunion, this would happen during the Board Meeting. This year, the presentation of candidates and the vote is taking place virtually.
The proposed candidates were approved during our August 2021 Board meeting. The names are posted here for our members to vote on. You may also nominate an alternate candidate(s), for any or all positions.
Once the voting is “officially” concluded on October 24, 2021, the votes will be tallied, and a written report will be provided to the Board. A thirty day voting period is being used to accommodate the 30 day notification period required for ByLaw changes (see information below).
The results will also be posted on the R-CA Facebook (@Roark- Conner), on the Website (Roark-Conner.org), and in the January 2022 Newsletter. If we have alternate candidate(s) for any position(s), we will convene the Board for further action.
Please be sure to submit your vote for these candidates or a nominee(s) of your choice.
— David Johnston, R-CA President, 2021
