Notes from a letter dated August 3, 2020, from Darwin Lane (who had located a copy of the details that were provided on each Veteran from Wanda Wilkey.) Darwin wrote,
“You need to know that the huge, colossal amount of work involved in the production of this Program was done by John Roark. A booklet was provided each Veteran recognized, containing a copy of the colored program plus and American Eagle (Trophy-type) for display as they wished. My only involvement was having the Program Bulletin prepared and printed by a commercial firm, arranging for the special patriotic music and providing a stage-type American flag. I took the Auditorium stage flag from the school where I was principal. Also, a copy of the color produced program was provided for all of the R-CA attendees at the Reunion.”
